By laser engraving, not print and not a sticker. The name is marked into the steel itself, so it will not peel, fade or wash off. Every piece is engraved in our own workshop in Bremen.

A personalised water bottle in 500, 750 and 1000 ml, the slim sports version down to 350 ml, a personalised lunch box in 800, 1200 and 1400 ml, an insulated food flask in 530, 730 and 1000 ml, and a personalised travel mug in 354 or 500 ml.

One engraving per item in the shop, in one of two fonts, and the choice of fonts is growing. Each product has its own limit, and the engraving field on the product page tells you when the text is longer than the space allows, so you see straight away whether a whole line fits or only a name. The lunch box gives you four positions to choose from; water bottle, sports bottle, food flask and travel mug each have one fixed position.

The name keeps the colour of the steel, because the laser marks the surface instead of adding ink. You read it clearly in daylight, but the contrast is quiet rather than black on silver. That is what an engraving looks like, and it is the reason it cannot rub off.

Engraving does not slow the parcel down. Order before 11am UK time on a working day and your piece is engraved and dispatched the same day, from our warehouse in Hamburg with Parcelforce Tracked. From dispatch it takes 3 working days to England and Wales, 3 to 6 to Scotland and Northern Ireland, and 4 to Ireland.

Yes, and a name on the bottle is the practical reason to buy one: it stops the mix-up at school and at the sports club. The 350 and 500 ml sizes are the easy ones for smaller hands, and the kids water bottles collection shows which bottles suit a school bag.

By hand. The steel itself is dishwasher safe, but hand washing keeps the engraved surface looking sharp for longer.

Yes. In the shop every item takes one engraving; for companies we also laser a logo and put an individual name on top of it. From 10 pieces we quote individually, production runs 3 to 5 working days after your order, and small quantities are assembled and bundled to order. Details on corporate gifts.

An engraved piece is made for you, so it is exempt from the usual right of withdrawal. That is what the preview is for: your text appears on screen exactly as it will be lasered into the steel. If we engrave it differently from what you ordered, we redo it free of charge, and every product carries a 3-year guarantee.
